To assure our Civil Rights under equal conditions for each and every Hispanic in the Unites States.
To strive for excellence in the attainment of equal opportunities for education for all Hispanics.
Promote increased awareness in all issues that affect our nation, not only those in which Hispanic are directly affected..
Develop a strong sense of citizenship with emphasis in our duties and responsibilities the much needed commitment toward active participation in national issues and volunteerism.
To promote leadership qualities within our Hispanic youth while promoting assertiveness, dedication, commitment and civic involvement.
To develop effective communication with every organization, agency and individual to promote our mission and goal.
Fulfill our responsibility by promoting electoral involvement and accepting the importance of participation in the destiny of our nation.
Actively participate in all programs developed to enhance the health and well being of the Hispanic community.
Develop outreach and advocacy programs for all Hispanics in order to guarantee that each and every individual is aware of the existing opportunities to improve our quality of life.
EDUCATION Promote bilingualism as the vehicle to broaden the opportunities of our communities. By developing English education programs and reinforcing Spanish communication skills, Hispanics will be effectively prepared to compete in all professional or vocational fields. This eventually will result in increased productiveness through better employment opportunities. Education is synonym of empowerment. Increased education will result in providing our fellow Hispanic with the tools need to communicate in an assertive and efficient way, thus ensuring that the contributions of our culture will be of importance and relevance for the well being of our nation. Increase parental involvement and participation in all aspects of education with the final purpose of student retainment in school and finally secondary school graduation. To promote Higher Education opportunities, by providing high school students with valuable information regarding grants and financial aids available that will them to continue their post-secondary education. ACTIVITIES Typical Christmas activities HEALTH Promote health advocacy programs to eliminate the use of drugs, alcohol and tobacco from our environment. Sponsor seminars regarding the effects of drugs and alcohol among our youth. |
CIVIL RIGHTS Develop a strong of the concepts of duty and responsibility by contributing to make people aware of the importance of active participation the electoral process of the nation, as well as recognizing that the voice of the Hispanic community, is one to be herd loud and strong.
CULTURE Promote the understanding that culture and language will always be ours, but the responsibility for its perpetuity does not lie in the government but within ourselves.
